Overview

240-tonne-class haul truck with Litronic Plus AC electric drive (2,013 kW, 55 km/h) and a design backed by more than 2.2 million operating hours. The Liebherr-Fortescue Autonomy Haulage Solution (AHS) adds driverless operation, and the two companies unveiled the world's first autonomous battery-electric T 264 at MINExpo 2024: a 3.2 MWh Fortescue Zero battery with a 6 MW robotic charger refilling in 12–58 minutes. Onsite validation began end of 2025. Modular design is retrofittable for autonomy, battery, and alternative power. The maker targets use cases including mining — autonomous surface haulage, zero-emission hauling. On paper: 176000 kg, 240000 kg payload, 55 m/s top speed.
