Overview
BYD's first humanoid, unveiled early August 2026 at the Di Space experience center in Zhengzhou (then Shenzhen, Shanghai). A service humanoid for showroom floors: 161 cm, 58.5 kg, 31 DoF (7 per hand, 6 per leg, 3 waist, 2 neck), dexterous hands with 1 kg grasp at ±1 mm repeatability, 360° vision with dynamic scene modeling, face/lip/gesture recognition, and real-time two-way translation across 6 Chinese dialects + 6 foreign languages. Developed in-house under BYD's 15th Business Division embodied-AI team (est. late 2024). EVP Stella Li: 2-3 robots per store across BYD's 3,000+ dealer network within 1-2 years; homes are the stated long-term market. Note: the FCC's July 28, 2026 Covered List blocks new Chinese humanoids from the US market.
